Lisbon
Some say Lisbon are a powerful pulsing band, producing aqua funk straight out of the north sea. In truth we are a set of highly trained performers, who are currently exercising and stretching the boundaries between Samba, Funk, Indie and Blues. With a set collective of upbeat, dancy songs – our gig experience is apparently ‘decent’. We’ve played a variety of gigs around the Newcastle area, including several at the prestigious Cluny in Byker, and more recently the Mouth of the Tyne festival.
Ego Trip
Ego trip grew up in Consett, Co. Durham. His family worked for The Salvation Army, where EGO learned how to play brass instruments and also sang in the choir. It wasn’t until EGO turned 16 that he started writing ‘rap’ songs due to his love for the genre and also poetry. He met up with Stu Taylor who was running a local Hip Hop label called Hi Risk Records. It was there that EGO found a home to release his music from. After years of preparation EGO released a series of Free Downloadable albums.
